Just one week ago, many of us were in the familiar flurry of getting suited, booted, and excited for an evening that promised to be truly special—the 50th Anniversary Annual Prize Giving Dinner at the elegant Clandeboye Golf Club. It was a milestone event in every sense, marking a quarter-century of celebrating Cockle Island Boat Club's spirited achievements on the water.
